army blanket
sbernardi8 asked:

I made a blanket for my boyfriend for Christmas, and we broke up before I gave it to him. It’s an army blanket… one of those no-sews… and I don’t really want it around here constantly reminding me of him. It’s never been used. Does anyone know any soldiers that would like a blanket or a little package?
thanks… i didnt even think of giving it to the homeless… and no, im not looking for another boyfriend or any thanks from it.. i just want it out of here and didnt know what to do with it.

    Send it through U.S.O.

  • The Yeti says:

Give it to a homeless person. I’m sure it would make their day.

my vote is with The Yeti, give to homeless and watch their faces glow!

I am Army… we got plenty of blankets, so I say give it to the homeless.

find an organization that donates items to the homeless, like a church or something. Don’t give it to the Salvation Army, they will just sell it.

Are you looking for a new boyfriend or do you wish to give your blanket to a soldier? Send your blanket to the Army and let them decide which soldier needs warmth. You should do so without wanting gratitude from an individual.
