my dad had a army blanket that was given to me after his death, it has about 100 patches on it that he recived in the army back in the 60′s, what site can i go to ,to find out if its worth anything?, ebay? or?????i need antiques road show……lol
im not selling it i want to know if its worth anything?

Why would you want to know? That is something I would cherish if my dad gave me something like this. To me it would be priceless.
I tell you what, I’ll give you fifty bucks for it, and I guarantee that you would want the blanket back in the near future. I will sell it back to you, but it may be more than you sold it for.
your terrible!
Why would you want to sell something like that? It should be something to pass down from generation to generation.
…And you’re trying to sell it? That’s terrible.
The 60′s is not exactly “old’ but it could be worth some money.
Probably best to sell it in one piece….the cheap ones will go with the rare ones…..
The value of any collectible is not fixed…..it depends on where you sell it…. I had lots of stuff like on the Antique Road Show but could not get near what they said they were worth in my market.
Suggest taking a photo of the blanket and sending it to a large auction house….( addresses are in the Mallory Register found in most book stores….do not buy the book, just copy the address)
Ebay is a buyers market…..not exactly where you sell for top dollar…..but if the large auction houses turn you down it is an option

I hope you’re not planning on selling that! I hope it’s for insurance purposes you need this information.
maybe you need to know the value for insurance purposes, right?
go to the local VfW’s they might be able to help you.
