army blanket
~Due May 17th 2009 With Baby #2~ asked:

Or something that they cannot leave the room or go to sleep without?

My son has 3 extremely fuzzy blankets, one of Lightning McQueen from Cars, a blue army one, and a light blue fuzzy one. They always calm him down and when he is upset or tired, he needs to have it. He will laugh and chew on it. It’s the cutest thing.

My 11 month old is that way with her “rubbies”. Any receiving blanket will work :)

My son, who, is 7 years old, has to have his “beary” when he goes to sleep. My 4 year old daughter has to have something too, but she isn’t particular on what she gets.

my five yr old still has her pooh blankie, a bear and another one to comfort her when she needs it. Not all the time does she want to sleep with them.

Yes! Everywhere we go “Berry Bear” goes with us too. He sleeps in his bed and does about everything Harley does except take a bath. I put my foot down to that one :) He also has a blue fuzzy blanket that has his name on it and that goes almost everywhere with us. He can’t go to sleep without it though.

Any blanket my daughter can find is her favourite, other than that, she has her talking Makka Pakka doll and her little Upsy Daisy stuffy.

Yes, up until recently my son carried a toy car that my grandpa made for my father, and my father gave to me and I gave to my son, everywhere. Now it’s his drawing pad and colored pencils.

My eight year old daughter still sleeps with “piggie”. In fact, she even takes it to overnights at her friend’s house. I think it is very healthy to have a “lovey”. I know it was mentioned in “Toddler Adoption:Faithweaver’s Craft” as healthy, also.

We had meow a little leopard toy cat that my son dragged with him everywhere it was so bad that at one point in time i had 3 meows (2 spares in the closet to make things like washing the dirty one a lot easier, the spares also came in handy when we lost the original and never found it again) Now my son is 6 years old and still sleeps with his “meow” we go to walmart every year for photos and in all our photos since he was almost 2 we have to have one with meow in it. He’s like a full fledged member of our family.
