army blanket
Davy asked:

I would like to know if countries like Pakistan, Ethopia and Thailand are going to set up International Aid and send those poor people in Gloucester and Tewksbury blankets, food and their Army to help these poor people. I cant help but think if this sort of thing happened in Pakistan etc.. there would be appeals on tv for bedding and god knows what.

If I lived in Gloucester and somebody shoved and envelope for another country under my nose I’d probably shove it up their **** or somethin!!

If I lived closer I’d help these poor sods.

Oh come on, you can’t be serious. The people of the countries you mention carry on starving when they’re not flooded. The UK is in G8 – get real !

Really! Having water and power cut off for a couple of weeks is nothing compared to the amount of suffering people in those countries have. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that not only have many of them not even experienced having running water and power, but they have no food, disease is rife and their government has no sympathy. My family lives in an affected area; still they count themselves lucky that the government will do something. Criticised our government may be, but at least they don’t turn their backs on us and count their cash (well…mostly anyway).

A few damp carpet doesn’t compare. These country haven’t the money anyway.
