    As you haven’t stated which Civil War, I have assumed that you mean the English Civil War.

    Cromwell’s army received uniforms, arms and equipment. There were no field kitchens but basic food supplies were guaranteed, in stark contrast to the Royalist forces.
    Cavalrymen had to provide their own horses – same as the Royalists.
