It would have been more sensible if all of them had stuck together. I'm damned if I'd stay alone on a railway station at night while my husband went off. Besides, she'd have kept warm more easily if she was walking. Not a sensible thing to do in my opinion. and why didn't she have a warm coat on anyway? What was she thinking of going out in that weather without one? I think both these people sound absolutely idiotic, and no, I wouldn't behave like either of them. I can't think what he was thinking of leaving them alone at the station like that, he'd have done much better to take them with him. I think most couples who are fond of each other do things for each other, but I can't say I am thrilled by the idea of a screaming, weeping man.
